Exhibition & Event Support

Contract Exhibition Services was formed in 2001 by its founder Giles Smith, who’s vision was to create an exhibition & event support company.

Giles had previously worked for his father's caravan company since leaving school, He was tasked to organise and setup an exhibition stand for the company in 1984 at Harewood house in Leeds, which led to him forming a small business attending Championship Dog Shows and County events throughout the UK.

Today, Contract Exhibition Services is very much a family company, and includes Giles Brother, Mathew who's Joinery company helps build the Exhibition stands and Exhibition trailers, Brother -in- law, David Rhimes, Contractor Peter Wilson and Jim Cotes who deliver, setup and manage stands for our clients at events throughout the UK.

Giles and Peter are qualified HGV class one drivers and Giles is also a qualified NTTA trailer technician.

We've had the pleasure of working for many clients over the years which include both large and small companies, marketing agencies and charitable organisations.

Our Marketing support services include Exhibitions, Events, Roadshows and Retail In-Store activities, and include the design, build, installation and management services.

Environmentally friendly approach

Over the years we’ve learnt from past experiences in attending events and exhibitions. We’ve created new, and very different ideas in the design and manufacture of retail and exhibition displays. We address the minimal use of plastics and one off branding elements, recycling old furniture and use sustainable wood in the manufacture of stands, stencil and recyclable poster printed graphics and picture framing alternatives. We create a range of mobile exhibition display trailers that are adaptable to all forms of events, enabling our clients to attend exhibitions without having the expense of building a purpose build stand.
